Since 1901, Nordstrom has prided itself on providing the ultimate shopping experience and turning its customers into true style leaders. This fashion retailer caters to 44 different countries, is present in 35 states, which house 117 different full-line stores, 143 Nordstrom Racks and of course, Nordstrom.com.

As of 2012, Nordstrom’s annual earnings were $735 million and had roughly 61,000 full/part-time employees. Since this business thrives around Christmas and their July Anniversary Sale, employees increased 2500-3500 people. Similar to its competitors, Nordstrom gains its revenue from retail sales, but also profit from its in-store cafes. Nordstrom’s President and CEO is Blake W. Nordstrom and his yearly compensation as of 2012 was $3,918,706. Michael G. Koppel is Vice President and Treasurer who made $2,890,882 as of 2012.

Being a predominately retail site, Nordstrom clearly outlines their business information as well, making this a credible source. Of course, every website will be a little biased in an effort to better themselves, but Nordstrom is able to provide helpful financial information along with stellar fashion. Unfortunately, I could not find very much information pertaining to social media in the fashion industry.

Nordstrom headquarters are located in Seattle, Washington. You can communicate with Nordstrom representatives via email, live chat on their website or the customer service line: 1 (319) 846-4140.

x,

Kyrie
